FBLA establishes a housing policy to ensure student safety, provide consistent accommodations, and maintain the financial viability of our events. For each conference, FBLA negotiates group rates with hotels that meet specific criteria—including proximity to the venue, room layouts suitable for student groups, safety standards, access to food options, and prior experience with school-related events.
In return for securing these rates and benefits, FBLA assumes a financial commitment and guarantees a certain number of rooms will be used. In some cases, these hotels also host conference activities or state delegation meetings and may be serviced by a complimentary shuttle system when multiple hotels are used.
This policy helps us prioritize student access to appropriate lodging and keeps event costs manageable across the board.
