Photo Identification Requirement for FBLA Competitive Events
Who Must Show ID:

Required: FBLA High School and Collegiate competitors

Not Required: FBLA Middle School competitors
When ID is Required:

Objective Testing: Present ID when picking up your testing card at objective test registration.

Performance Events: Present ID at performance check-in before entering the competition area.

All Competitive Events: ID must be shown prior to entering the competition area.
Acceptable Forms of Photo Identification (physical or digital):

Driver’s license or non-driver state ID

School-issued student ID card from the competitor’s current school

Passport, passport card, or U.S. Global Entry card

Government-issued military or national ID
The name on the ID should match the name on the competitor’s name badge (reasonable allowances will be made for shortened names—e.g., “Jennifer” to “Jen”).
What If a Competitor Doesn’t Have a Valid ID?
If a competitor does not have one of the accepted forms of identification, they must complete and use the FBLA Competitor Alternate ID Form.

Why Is This Required?
Verifying participant identity ensures the fidelity and integrity of FBLA’s competitive events. Competitors must present a valid, original, current photo ID that is:

Issued by a school or a city, state, or federal government agency

Clearly shows a current and recognizable photo of the competitor
